This layout portrays a ‘half size’ tramway built as a tourist attraction on what was a terminus of a railway. The trams were made for Typhoo Tea in the 1980s and are N gauge although the layout is 00 gauge. This gives a rail gauge of 2ft 3ins. This strengthens the tourist theme and comparisons can be made with Seaton in Devon. Some of the buildings are from the railway era, and the canal is back in action although used for pleasure and tourist craft.
